Kobulubulu Goats and Chickens
Tributes of Early Donors
We so appreciate ALL our donors! The Kobulubulu Goats and Chickens were named by a special class of donors.
For our first project, the Cassava Project, with the KRMA savings group in Kobulubulu, we promoted goats and chickens as fitting symbols of the hopes and dreams of the women working to improve their lives through agriculture.
Donors who contributed $250 or more were invited to name a chicken they chose to carry the name of a family or friend they wanted to honor with their gift.
Likewise, donors who contributed $500 or more were invited to name a goat or sheep the donor chose to carry the name of a family or friend they wanted to honor with their gift.
Although our seven years of support of the KRMA savings group’s Cassava Project is now complete, we seek to forever honor those who were key to our early success. May they, along with the many others who gave us support during our early years, be satisfied that their donations had a great impact on the women and families of KRMA.
